The Platonic Stargazing event will be held on Thursday, October 22, between 6pm and 8pm and is a great way to meet new friends at UConn, get outside to the fresh air, and learn about the Ace and Aro (Asexual/Aromantic) community.  Unfortunately, in order to have the event, we need to adhere to some protocols involving COVID-19.

We are limiting this event to the first 10 registrants so that we can maintain the participation to adhere to Mansfield’s ban on large group activities and UConn’s protocols regarding COVID-19.  After the threshold of 10 registrants is reached, we will eliminate the registration form.  Registrants will need to confirm their adherence to UConn’s requirements regarding COVID-19, including but not limited to, the wearing of a mask that covers the nose and mouth, maintaining 6-foot distances between participants, affirming one’s lack of one’s positive COVID-19 test results and affirming one’s state of overall physical health, among other requirements.

The meeting location will be sent to registrants either on the day of the event, or, the day before the event, to ensure the event will have only registered participants.  Water and snacks will be available. Please dress in layers to ensure your warmth by regulating your body temperature and wear proper shoes.  Bringing a blanket to sit on is highly encouraged..
