Library

We have a large collection of gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and queer literature. Any UConn student, faculty member, staff or community member may check out books, videos/dvds and board games with a Rainbow Center Library Card. Patrons can apply for a library card at the front desk of the center. To view our listings of our library items, please refer below. We are currently in the process of listing our items on the HOMER Catalog.

Our library also have 4 public access computers running on Windows VISTA with internet access. In addition, the Rainbow Center has wireless internet that is accessible for our patrons who are affiliated with the University of Connecticut.

As of March 15, 2009, due to budgetary constraints placed upon the Rainbow Center by the State of Connecticut, the privilege to print from our computers using Rainbow Center's resources will be allowed only on Mondays and limited to six sheets of white paper per patron. A patron may supply his/her own paper greater than the six pages on Mondays OR during other days of the week. Per day, up to 25 sheets supplied by the patron may be printed from the Rainbow Center's computers.
